We like to pride ourselves on making better environmental decisions for both our customers and in our own practice. Offering many different water efficient options, informing of current CRD bylaws in regards to backflow prevention and watering schedules, and now presenting LED lighting as a way to reduce power consumption are just a few possibilities as a customer.

Here at Aqua Irrigation, we use low VOC glue which is easier on organic compounds in the soil, we recycle everything from paper to metal whenever we can and our route service list allows scheduling service calls based on postal code. This is designed to reduce both fuel consumption and harmful vehicle emissions.

LED lighting is not only more economical than halogen or incandescent lights, but more importantly is a greener choice for the environment. Requiring less energy and fewer bulb replacements, new LED technology offers the most efficient form of illumination and is the only real choice in your quest to reduce power consumption. This spring we were asked to help out the radio station 100.3 The Q and it's Rock and Roll Research Center by presenting some helpful tips and ideas for irrigation and outdoor lighting. We were very happy to get on board with such a popular radio station to make ourselves available for the public to ask any questions.
